10 safety tips of a WordPress site [part 3]

Third and final part of cybersecuritynt.ga advice to shield your WordPress site.Tips simple, with little or minimal cost, to ensure that unwanted users will not get access to your site and will not steal critical data hosted on this. See the first part and the second part .

8. Select the hosting site a reputable company

It is extremely important that your site is hosted on servers of a reliable company, with which you can contact at any time, and whose employees will be able to assist you throughout the 24 hours, regardless of Saturday-Sunday, holidays and public holidays.

Of course, for security reasons, the hosting company should:
·         To support the latest versions of PHP, MySQL, CPanel, Plesk, etc.,
·         To support and optimize the operation of WordPress,
·         Provide account isolation,
·         Have real people to help you whenever a problem occurs,
·         Be sure to backup your files.

9. Isolate the major websites

The simultaneous existence of multiple WordPress sites in one hosting account is not something dangerous in itself, but problems can occur in cases of attacks, since the violation of a site involves a violation and the other.
In practice, most hosting companies keep backup accounts and not individual sites. So if there is a problem with a website and need to "turn back time" in a single site, it is impossible: they will ariseearlier versions and to other sites that exist on the same account.
Of course, there is the "manual" copies conservation solution via FTP download, which, however, takes time and storage space.
Therefore, it is preferable to maintain a significant your site in a separate hosting account, you can have backup at any time and you can reset it as soon as possible.

10. Existence back-up plan

Two things to watch out with regard to backup your WordPress site: the website files and databases with which they are associated.

Needless to emphasize the importance of a backup site. Sometimes the backup is the only option to restore our systems to a previous 'normal' situation, after an attack.
Almost all hosting companies provide for the backup of files and a site database. There are plugin in WordPress that can be used to automatically backup.
The back-up can be programmed to be performed on a daily, weekly or even monthly. The more often, the better. However, as mentioned earlier, the "space" you have is not unlimited. If you want more storage, this will increase the operating costs of your site.
Finally, for even more security, we recommend you follow and your own back-up of your website via FTP or to a local disk, while the backup that keeps your company. This is because there is always the risk of a problem on the company's server, which might result in a complete loss of data (small, but not fishy).

Conclusion

Always remember that prevention is much more important than dealing with a problem.Undoubtedly it is not possible to protect 100% of a cyber-attack, but the better you are prepared, faster and more effectively to address any problems that will arise.

Remember that on average show 82 000 new malware every day, so the security of your WordPress site will be reaching the maximum level.
